Go bananas!
Can you sort the facts from the outrageous fiction? It all started back in 1992 with a tongue-in-cheek question about straightening bananas and has spiralled out of control ever since. Get the question right and go on to the next, get it wrong and you go back to the start!
Correct! The story was reported, amongst others, by Tiscali Europe (28 Nov 2003) and it is true. As of July 2004 pet owners in most EU countries can apply for a passport for their dog, cat or ferret if they intend to take them along on trips abroad. Not quite as silly as it sounds, the pet passport contains information about vaccinations and veterinary check ups that allow immigration authorities to approve or refuse an animal's entry into the country.
Next Question: It is a criminal offence to sell mixed drinks like shandy in a pint glass. True or false?
